In our final segment with Dr. Scott Stripling and Dr. Peter van der Veen, Scott starts by sharing the theological implications of the Mount Ebal curse tablet.
As Dr. Stripling points out, if the Bible is historically accurate and there is a God of the Bible, as this tablet affirms, then that God holds a moral claim on our lives.
Dr. van der Veen then shares what the future holds for the project and how there is much more work to be done - both with translating inscriptions on the outside of the tablet, as well as potentially wet-sifting the remaining 2/3 of Adam Zertal's dump pile.
Tim, Scott, and Peter close by discussing the providence behind this discovery and why it is just now coming to light in our time.
