In this sixth segment, Tim asks Rick why he was willing to help make Patterns of Evidence: The Journey Home. Rick shares how this film took on a life of its own and how it became much more than a film about the making of the Patterns of Evidence series. It became a testimony - or - as Rick's wife calls it a "testi-movie" - of how God miraculously worked in Tim's life and the lives of the Patterns team.
Tim then relays how making this film actually helped bring about healing in his family by revisiting past hurts and trauma and trusting that God had a purpose for it all. Tim also shares how he felt that God called him to pray for His earthly father, leading to a renewed and redeemed relationship between the two of them.
Rick and Tim end this segment discussing the importance of knowing that our Heavenly Father is like no earthly father. Whether our earthly father is good or bad, our Heavenly Father is always trustworthy, true, and there for us.
